Apple will announce the release of the iPhone 5 on September 12. There will be a new software on the iPhone called iOS 6. This new iPhone appears to be slimmer compared to the previous iPhones. Like all Apple products the iPhone 5 is expected to be a hit. The event will start at 10a.m on the 12th. There may be new ear buds to go with apples new line of products. This will be a plus for buyers. The only way to find out is to watch the event on September 12.
The iPhone 5 is like the cotton gin we learned about last year. The cotton gin made cotton picking extremely easier for a lot of people. It was much easier for the slaves and workers. Just like the new iPhone, it will make life much easier. The iPhone helps with literally everything and anything, you could imagine.
The i pad mini is being released in October. it will have a 7 in screen and will be $250-300 which is half the price of a normal i pad. It is very easy to transport and will make surfing the web faster and easier from any ware.

He joined the Haselton and colleagues at Vanderbilt University to build a hand held remote clinic to test by yourself. The solution was a machine called the extractionator, a tool that keeps body fluids sterile while tiny magnets extract disease biomarkers, like proteins or bits of DNA, that can be the telltale sign of an infection. To diagnose malaria, for instance, a blood sample is fed into a closed plastic tube filled with millions of tiny magnetic beads coated with nickel. Nickel chemically binds to a protein produced by the malaria parasite, called histidine-rich protein 2. Once the protein attaches to the beads, another larger magnet slides along the outside of the tube, dragging the combo through a series of chambers. One chamber washes contaminants from the beads; another contains a salt that binds to nickel, causing the biomarker to detach. People were wishing the carriers and Apple would give shipping information and tracking numbers for their iPhone 5 pre orders. Many people were getting very upset because of this confusion. The carriers then said the phones would ship in 2-3 weeks, which made the general public very mad because of their assurance of their phones being at their front door on Friday the 21st in September.
I relate this to the slave’s equality and rights to the iPhone 5 because as slaves, they had no idea of when they would truly have equal rights and equality as people. ReplyDeleteIn recent studies inventors are trying to build a more futuristic type of helicopter known as the quad-copter, or from the dark Knight rises "The Bat". This quad-copter is not going to be released to the public, but maybe to the military in 4-5 years.
This relates to what we are studying because it is an advancement in technology like how the train was in that time period.
The topics, that we have learned about so far in the year, that relate to technology is first the railroad. The railroad made it easier for people to ship things back and forth. Another is the steel mill. It made it easier to mass produce steel.

ReplyDeleteThis article is about windows 8. In this article, Nicole Lee describes windows 8 and that it will have an OS launch event. She informs that Bing will be first out of the gate on October 5th.
Windows 8 is very similar to the west because of the new invention of the train. Windows 8 is going to help many people just like the train did. The train really simplified people’s life. They didn’t have to risk their life’s trying to cross the west. All they had to do is get on the train. With windows 8, it will make so many things easier and quicker. We will be able to do so many things that we weren’t with the other programs. Windows 8 is a great upgrade just like the train was. People would have never thought of the train but here it is! It’s the same with windows 8, some people from the past would have thought it was impossible to video chat, email, send pictures through the air. Windows 8 will help this happen; we have made the impossible become the possible.

ReplyDeleteMy article was on the success of Microsoft over the years. In the article it says that Microsoft must show traction in mobile over the long-run to stay relevant and grow its business. In the article it also says that the company must start to show that traction sooner or the stock will begin to act like a value trap. The future of the company’s success on Windows 8 is supposed to begin the march of Microsoft into more integration between the desktop and mobile devices. It is pointed out that the Microsoft tablet must be a success. This relates to all the inventions that were made and how it helped out a lot of businesses. For example the telephone made it easier to communicate with one another. It also allowed businesses to expand to more places. The article also mentions a lot about of business. Business was important then.

In the article about the iPhone five it said that they made it have a larger screen, have quicker internet speed and they put a new powerful chip in it. Also making it lighter and thinner. This newly invented iPhone five relates to when Alexander Gram Bell invented the first telephone in which you could communicate by voice. His invention relates because if he hadn’t of made the first telephone we wouldn’t have kept improving them throughout the years. Today we wouldn’t have wireless phones and fast sever. Also we would not only be able to talk to people wirelessly but we also wouldn’t be able to send worded messages. Alexander Grams Bells invention of the telephone was a huge invention which led us to have faster and more dependable devices today like the IPhone five that just came out.

It can come out of nowhere and attack you. this tank can look like a snow drift, a trash can, or a soccer moms van. It hides best against inferred vision so that anyone who is using inferred will not find this tank.i related this tank to the German U-boat which terrorized the seas and would come out of no where and kill its victims.

Then it goes on to talk about how the estimated revenue for Microsoft for the end of the year is going to be about 2.3 billion dollars. Also it states that the windows 8 operating system has raised the Microsoft's stock price by 28 cents.This relates to class because this is a lot like the roaring 20's when great technology advances were made in the country.
